About Our Association

Together, We Celebrate. Together, We Connect. Together, We Grow.

Enniscorthy Indian Association (EIA), formerly known as Keralites in Enniscorthy, is a community organisation established to bring together Indian families, individuals and friends living in Enniscorthy and the surrounding areas of County Wexford.

Est. 23/01/2017 • Wexford PPN: PPN-00656

EIA is committed to celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India while creating meaningful connections with the wider Irish community. Our aim is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where people from different backgrounds can come together, share traditions, build friendships and create lasting memories.

Our Vision

“Our vision is to create a strong, united and inclusive community where Indian culture and traditions can be proudly celebrated while embracing the diversity and values of Ireland.”

Throughout the year, EIA organises a wide range of cultural, social, sporting and family-oriented activities. Our celebrations include major Indian festivals such as Onam, Vishu, Diwali, Easter, Christmas and Eid, alongside community gatherings, family events and multicultural programmes.

Message from the Patron

“I am delighted and honoured to be part of the Enniscorthy Indian Association as its Patron.

As Indians, we deeply value togetherness, kindness, compassion and respect for one another. Wherever we live, we believe in contributing positively to society, supporting our communities and working together to strengthen the economy of our adopted country.

Here in Ireland, we are proud to live in harmony, celebrate our shared cultures and build lasting friendships between the Indian and Irish communities.

As we say in India, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” , the world is one family. This beautiful philosophy reminds us that, beyond our differences in culture, language and background, we are all part of one human family.

Let us continue to build bridges between our communities through friendship, mutual respect, peace and compassion.

Together, we can create a stronger, kinder and more inclusive society for everyone.”
